Legal Regime for Goldsmithery and Assay Offices (RJOC)
All products sold by André Valente (Cbelajoias) in Silver 925 comply with Law 98/2015 of August 18, which establishes the legal regime for jewelery and contrast shops (RJOC).
In compliance with the provisions of Law 98/2015 of 18 August, amended pursuant to Decree Law no. 120/2017, 15 September, passing lines a), d), e), number 4 of article 64 of this decree law have been adapted and meet the following requirements:
a) All articles are legally marked, when applicable;
b) All articles contain express information on the metal or metals that make up the articles with precious metal, the respective touches, their weight, as well as, possibly, the type of gemological materials that adorn them;
c) The table of marks, in paper or digital form, of the Assay Offices is visibly made available, and in the case of electronic availability, a link to the INCM website may be created;
d) The express indication that the buyer may, in case of doubt about the authenticity of the marks, resort, for verification purposes, to the services of the Assay Offices; e) Provide the indication of the name of the economic operator, the tax identification number or the identification number of a legal person and the activity title number;
f) A link to the Bank of Portugal's website is made available, through which information on the daily price of gold, silver, platinum and palladium can be accessed, in accordance with the provisions of subparagraph a) of n. 1 and 2 of the previous article;
g) A list of registered appraisers is made available for consultation, managed and organized by the INCM, whenever the sale of used precious metal items is carried out.
3 — The provisions of the previous number do not affect the application of the legal regime applicable to contracts concluded at a distance and to contracts concluded outside the establishment, contained in Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, amended by Law no. 47/2014, of July 28th.
4 — Violation of the provisions of paragraphs 1 or 2 is a serious administrative offence.
